The RIP-IT Batting Complex at Eastmonte Park is up and running! RIP-IT sponsored league Altamonte Springs Babe Ruth Baseball got a new sign outside their batting cages earlier this month that we are pretty excited about. You can swing by Eastmonte Park in Altamonte Springs, FL and see it yourself. They are located at 830 Magnolia Drive Altamonte Spgs, FL 32701. The park is open from 8AM – 8PM, Monday – Friday.

Sporting Goods Baseball King Leaves His Legacy

Co-founder of Franklin Sports, Irving Franklin, passed away Thursday, November 12th. An inspiration to the sporting goods industry, including here at RIP-IT, Franklin was the innovator of the batting glove. The initial design for his batting gloves are still used widely today including among many major league players. His legacy continues on in those who use his batting gloves and in those who design sporting equipment with the intent of setting a new and higher standard for their athletic products.
