We came across this video and although it is from last July, the message never gets old. This is what good sportsmanship is all about fans.

We want to extend a BIG thanks to a RIP-IT customer (and recent video contest winner) who sent us treats from their hometown in Kapolei, Hawaii. As you can see, the chocolates were a big hit around the office!

Sporting Goods Baseball King Leaves His Legacy
Co-founder of Franklin Sports, Irving Franklin, passed away Thursday, November 12th. An inspiration to the sporting goods industry, including here at RIP-IT, Franklin was the innovator of the batting glove. The initial design for his batting gloves are still used widely today including among many major league players. His legacy continues on in those who use his batting gloves and in those who design sporting equipment with the intent of setting a new and higher standard for their athletic products.

Tebow Leads Bronco’s to a Last Minute Victory at “Gator Day”
After much anticipation, Tim Tebow stepped onto the field as a starting quarterback this past Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The timing was impeccable because the game just happened to be honoring the Florida Gators’ 2008 National Title football team. For those of you who didn’t catch the game on CBS, with five minutes left in the game, a win appeared out of reach with the Broncos down by 15. Tebow managed, with no timeouts left, to rally the Broncos to overcome the deficit within the last five minutes to tie the score at 15-15. The game was pushed into overtime and the Broncos won on a field goal.
It was a joint effort and the Broncos worked together in the end. In Tebow’s own words about his teammates, “We kept believing, my teammates kept believing in me and we kept fighting. It wasn’t pretty for 57 minutes, but that’s why you play for 60, and today, you play a little bit longer. I’m grateful to have guys that believe in me…”
With Urban Meyer and former Gator teammates, like Mike Pouncey, in the stands, Tebow secured a win for the Broncos (and one for the Gator nation) with an 18-15 victory against the Miami Dolphins.
Go Broncos Gators!
